A LATEST GENERATION SYSTEM
In addition to a hardware ad high computing capacity, IST's optical sorters are equipped with a software, designed by our experts, able to work in complete autonomy thanks to an easy-to-use user interface. Using a resistive touch screen, the customer can set the selection criteria using two main functions:
- the function "Blob " allows to discard the defective parts of the products when an imperfection exceeds a certain size, expressed in number of pixels and settable according to requirement. In this way the operation flexibility increases, allowing a reduction of false rejects;
- the function "CS ", leveraged to split products according to their size, distinguishing them into "compliant product" and "waste".
Furthermore, the user can manage the selection manually, through RGB adjustment, or automatically, through the function "Capture" carried out by the sorter herself. For this purpose, IST makes available to its customers a cloud, always accessible online, containing more than 10,000 digital acquisitions of the products to be inspected. Each customer will thus be able to independently create and store their own Processing "recipes", setting which parts of the product to discard or not.
EASY AND INTERCONNECTED MANAGEMENT
Prepared for connection to the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) facilitated by standards OPC And OPC UA, in addition to being connected to Wi-Fi for remote assistance, IST's optical sorters allow one constant supervision of the workings. In fact, thanks also to the presence of probes to control the flow of the product, our machines allow you to manage the inspection phases remotely both through the PLC and through the Internet: the operator will only need a smartphone or tablet to view and drive. the sorter.
Furthermore, the aforementioned OPC Unified Architecture (UA) favors data interchange between PLCs, human-machine interfaces and other machinery. The UA, required by the industry 4.0 plan, provides several advantages, as through this system it is possible to detect data with respect to the operation of the Infinity Plus optical sorters, including any interruptions in processing and the amount of waste obtained. This is particularly useful for draw up reports, fundamental in the reconstruction of the supply chain, with undoubted positive effects on the optimization of production processes.
REAL-TIME REMOTE ASSISTANCE
Without the need to wire the work environment, the optical sorter can be connected to the Internet, allowing IST technicians to remotely intervene in the resolution of potential problems identified by the error detection system through a self-diagnosis of the machinery.
Our remote assistance is carried out in real time and also extends to the commissioning of our Infinity Plus: for our team, no distance is insurmountable when an optical sorter is connected to the network.
